Congratulations on making it to the bottom of this ridiculously long line of photos from our Southern Caribbean cruise! We started in San Juan and made our way through St. Croix, St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Lucia, and Barbados. We went with the greatest friends and also made some friends along the way, which is a slightly depressing thought now, considering the chances of ever seeing them again.  The memories alone are enough to make me laugh out loud and realize over again how making our way to somewhere new is always worth the penny pinching before and afterward.  It's interesting how traveling can satisfy that discovery itch not only for geographic locations but for yourself as an individual. Antigua was my favorite place we stopped (see the water in the 5th photo from the top) although they were all absolutely beautiful.  When we docked in St. Lucia we hopped on a pre-arranged private boat tour with a smiley man named Julian and his friend Johnson.  Their motto is "No pressure, no problem," which of course we adopted the second we heard it.  They took us to see some incredible things including the Pitons, and let us jump off the back of the boat to go snorkeling.  The neatest part of the day was our lunch break, which included a homemade St. Lucian meal at "mama's house," a little home hidden in the tropical mass of trees on the mountain.  The food was delicious but the fact that we were sitting in a real home, with the birds flying through the windows and laundry hanging out to dry between the trees outside made it an experience I will never forget. The entire week was filled with cry-laughing, relaxing, eating+eating, and every shade of happiness I could imagine.  Here's to memory making!

Warby parker summer 2013
Today I'm partnering with Warby Parker to help with the launch of their new 2013 Summer Collection of eyeglasses and sunglasses. Every year by the time April rolls around I'm ready to blast the AC, book a vacation, and take a fresh new pair of sunglasses with me, so this collection launch is right on time! Check out my two favorite pairs after the jump:

These two pairs get me really excited for toes in the sand and brunch on the patio! Go ahead and pick some favorites and view the collection yourself here.

One of my best friends Brynn moved to NYC last summer which was super sad for me, but now when I'm there she takes me to the coolest places, like the Artists&Fleas flea market in Brooklyn.  This is a little framed quote cut out from Harriet the Spy. It says, "Whatever happens don't let me cry." :)

Right after my wonderful/patient hairdresser Leah made my hair non-ombré.  I loved it so much but as an extremely light natural blonde and a lazy person when it comes to beautifying it became too much in the maintenance department.  I'm actually going back completely to blonde in a couple of weeks because it's just the easiest for me.

My first white Christmas in Midway, UT. The snow made the fire inside 1,000x more cozy and I loved it.

Glad I got use out of this coat that usually rots in my closet during Vegas winters

My infamous window picture is tradition as soon as we arrive anywhere. Here I'm looking out to San Diego.

We took paper hearts and a camera to the park and madness ensued.

My mother in law invited us over a few weeks ago for dinner before Valentine's Day, and she had baked these cute heart cookies for us to decorate.  I was so glad she did that because Valentine's is my favorite holiday and it usually passes before I do enough to celebrate.  I obviously do not have a crafty bone in my body but I loved it...and ugly cookies still taste good!
